With the airplain active loudspeakers, the name says it all. Phli, Pronounced like the word fly, it means phase-linear. All airplain products have this characteristic and this is what makes the sound so incredibly authentic.
The main system includes a roon® and audirvana® compatible DSP streaming box*, which was developed by Weiss Engineering and allows various adjustments to the room.
Both the main systems and the subwoofers are driven by integrated “Eigenakt” power amplifiers from Purifi.

The phli U-series is like the phli series phase linear in decisive transmission range.
With theses series, a pure active speaker series was created, without an external streamer/DSP unit. With the U-series, any streamer with digital or analog output can be connected. A DANTE™ network connection is available on request, making it possible to place the source further away from the speaker or to integrate it into a home theater solution.

The phli Custom series is designed for places where only little space is available, but still first-class music reproduction is desired.
The Inceiling speakers are driven by the DSPA-2.2 amplifier. Tweeter and bass-midrange are controlled sepearately (by a 4-pin cable). Thus, all airplain custom loudspeakers are also active and phase-linear and offer the highest sound quality. Thanks to the ultra-long-throw chassis, a rich, extremely deep bass foundation is possible.
